Located on the site of an ancient hacienda in Caracas, Parque del Este is one of the most important of the city,
designed in 1961 by Burle Marx and associates Fernando Tabora and John Stoddart.

Issue #184 is part of Box Set #26, dedicated to the photographic journey by Brazilian photographer Leonardo Finotti into five landscapes designed by Roberto Burle Marx around Brazil from the 1940s to 1990s, interpreting a range of scales of Burle Marx's work from private gardens to urban squares and large-scale public projects.
